Last night marked the end of an era at Wallasey Masonic Hall.
After 17 years of dedicated service, Allen Boden completed his final engagement as our hospitality partner – and how fitting that it was with his own Lodge, Broadsmith Masonic Lodge 3593.
Over the years, Allen has looked after countless meetings, festive boards and special occasions, becoming a familiar face to generations of Brethren and an integral part of life at the Hall. His care, commitment and hospitality have played a huge part in the experience enjoyed by so many who have passed through our doors.
To mark the occasion, Allen was presented with a commemorative plaque together with the proceeds of a collection kindly contributed to by many of our Masonic Units.
Whilst Allen rightly takes centre stage, we would also like to thank the loyal team who have worked alongside him over the years. Their efforts behind the scenes have helped make so many Masonic occasions run smoothly and successfully. We are particularly pleased that some members of the team, including Mo, have expressed a wish to continue supporting the Hall in the future.
On behalf of the Directors, the Units and all the Brethren who have enjoyed his hospitality over the years, we would like to offer our sincere thanks and wish Allen every happiness for the future.
Thankfully, this is not goodbye. Allen remains a valued member of Broadsmith Lodge3593 and we look forward to continuing to see him around the Hall for many years to come.
Thank you, Allen, for 17 years of service, friendship and commitment to Wallasey Masonic Hall. You will always be part of the Hall’s history.
