🏛️ 100 years ago... a New Brighton landmark was born. ❤️

On 21st August 1926, the beautiful Vale Park Bandstand was officially opened by Stanley Atkin, Chairman of the Parks Committee, beginning a century of music, entertainment and unforgettable memories in the heart of our community.

For 100 years, the bandstand has been the backdrop to concerts, performances and special occasions, bringing generations of families together in Vale Park. Since 1953, Joytime has proudly been part of that history, entertaining generations of local children every summer.

That's why we're so proud to be celebrating the bandstand's official centenary on the ✨ 💥 ACTUAL 💥✨ anniversary date – Friday 21st August 2026.

Join Aaron Hayes and the Joytime Crew from 11am until 3pm for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, with entertainment, local stall holders, special guests and plenty of family fun.

Vale House Community Centre are offering this for any families that would benefit from it.
For parents unable to attend the breakfast club there will be opportunity for them to pre-order items for preparation at home instead.
