🇺🇸 HUGE NEWS FOR NEW BRIGHTON: APPALACHIA IS COMING TO THE MESS! 🇺🇸

This is a VERY special one… and we’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing it to Fort Perch Rock.

Straight from the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee to the shores of the Mersey… RICHIE OWENS is coming to The Mess!

Our very own Martin Pleass Dyerslide is bringing Richie Owens, musician, songwriter and record producer, and cousin of country music legend Dolly Parton, to New Brighton as part of his UK tour.

Richie comes from the same remarkable Smoky Mountain family and musical tradition that helped shape Dolly Parton’s story, and is part of Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain DNA: Family, Faith & Fables project, celebrating generations of songs, stories, faith and family history.

And on Tuesday 18 August, we get to welcome that incredible musical heritage to The Mess at Fort Perch Rock. 🇺🇸🤝🇬🇧

Joined by Bob Ocker and Joe Sharp, Richie will fill the Fort with authentic acoustic Appalachian roots music, original songs and the stories behind them.

This isn't just another gig. It’s a little piece of the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee coming to New Brighton for one night only - music, family, heritage and storytelling in one of the Wirral’s most unique venues.

At just £10 a ticket, we genuinely don't expect these to hang around.
