I asked for a hand behind the bar… this is taking the “skeleton crew” a bit too literally.

Halloween preparations are getting a little out of hand at The Goose, and apparently I’m the first victim.

This morning we swapped the power tools for cocktail shakers. The whole team had fun mixing cocktails at 9am. Not your average Monday morning!

We’ve been practising our cocktail skills and getting the mixes right. Just a few more tweaks to the presentation and they’ll be magical.

How committed are we to bringing death-defying entertainment to The Goose?

That’s Lee and Tom cutting down the lighting so Michael had enough room to juggle knives on a giant unicycle. On our stage. In The Ridings Shopping Centre

Apparently “the ceiling’s too low” wasn’t a good enough reason to stick to karaoke.

We said we wanted to bring something different to The Ridings. Turns out that involves a few alterations to the building.

Raising the bar. Shortening the lights.

A busy afternoon at the Goose with some lovely groups and families getting stuck into the games. Great to see everyone having fun and getting just a little bit competitive!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and an extra thanks to those who were patient with a few teething problems on our super-duper new booking system. Apparently “super-duper” still needs a little fine-tuning 😂
