Milk tea, egg tart, egg puff, rice rolls, french toast, cart noodle.. except for all these mouthwatering foods in Hong Kong, which I miss are the days strolling around in the Hong Kong flower market. ๐ฅฒ๐ปIt's a jungle of blooms, I can always spend hours to explore and choose some fresh flowers, and enjoying doing experiments of drying them at home!
Last Saturday, there was the first ever Hong Kong Cultural day in Castleford. Thanks very much for the organizers, all the volunteers and provide the venue to us to hold game booths, workshops and food tasting to show Hong Kong's culture. We were pleased to have much interaction with participants, and glad that people who came really enjoying the day! I was very pleased people love my handmade floral cards๐ฅฐโบ๏ธ๐

The Flower Market in Hong Kong is located on Boundary Street, which set the boundary of the land ruled by Britain on Kowloon Peninsula according to the Treaty of Beijing in 1889. The land from the south of Boundary Street owned by Britain and the north by China. Since the westerners liked to buy flowers to decorate their homes, the florists gathered around Boundary Street to sell flowers every day. The flower market has grown much bigger and is very prosperous.
