📣 There’s so much happening at Wadhurst Commemoration Hall this season — it’s truly the beating heart of our community.

🎬 Cinema Nights return with a brilliant line-up of films on the big screen.

🎭 Wadhurst Dramatic Club are calling for stars (on stage and backstage!) for this year’s pantomime, Robin Hood & The Babes in the Wood.

🎶 Wadhurst Brass Band are back with their Autumn Concert — a local favourite.

🤝 And don’t forget our AGM – Then, Now & Beyond on 10th September, where you can hear what’s next for the Hall, Institute & Field and how you can be part of its future.

🌱🍔 The Green Room is back! 🌱🍔

Just to let you know, The Green Room will be outside the Hall on Wadhurst High Street tonight (Fri 22nd) and tomorrow (Sat 23rd August) from 4:30pm – 9:30pm.

They’ll be serving from their brand new truck with a new menu (to be revealed shortly!) – come down and check it out. 🙌

✨ Front Facelift in Progress! ✨

The Commemoration Hall is getting a well-deserved spruce-up at the front – and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible generosity of Nick and Tammy from Wadhurst Scaffolding, who donated the scaffolding completely free of charge. 👏👏

A huge thank you to them for supporting our community and helping us keep the Hall looking its best for the many events and gatherings it hosts. 💙

Join us in Wadhurst on Friday 15th August 2025 as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day.

🔹 9:00am–6:30pm – History Society exhibition, Orchard Room
🔹 4:00pm – Church Service
🔹 7:00pm – History Society Q&A with “Winston Churchill” in the Commemoration Hall
🔹 9:30pm – Beacon lighting ceremony behind the Commemoration Hall
