TOP TIP: Planning a marquee wedding in Cornwall?

Marquee weddings offer the perfect blank canvas for putting your own stamp on your wedding and are a great chance to get creative – but planning a marquee wedding in Cornwall comes with it’s very own set of complexities that need to be taken into consideration.

1 Find your site

The appeal for marquee weddings in Cornwall is that you can pitch up at your chosen site looking out over an epic view and be totally exclusive, however, there are a few details to take into consideration beforehand. Once you’ve narrowed down a few locations, go and visit them and meet with the owner and chat through your requirements. Before you commit see if the site is easily accessible and the ground is suitable. Read the T&C’s just to make sure there is nothing in the small print regarding access or restrictions to noise or fireworks for example. You may also opt for a marquee wedding in your own gardens or land. This is a great way to personalise the day but be aware that you’re going to have a week or so of preparation in the run-up to your wedding and in the days afterward too, so make sure everyone involved is happy and be prepared for a little damage to lawns and drives.
