TODAY’S THE DAY, UTTOXETER! 🐾

The Big Bark is here and we’ve got a full day of dog-filled fun waiting for you at Uttoxeter Racecourse.

From agility, trick training and Canihike & Canicross demos to canine first aid, heelwork to music, have-a-go activities and the brilliant Pebbles Legacy dog show, there’s loads happening across the day.

THE WEATHER IS LOOKING GREAT FOR THE BIG BARK THIS WEEKEND! 🙌

We’ve been keeping a very close eye on the forecast and things are looking pretty perfect for a doggy day out at Uttoxeter Racecourse this weekend.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: THE BIG BARK UTTOXETER 🐾

We’re nearly there! The Big Bark is coming to Uttoxeter Racecourse this weekend for two full days dedicated to dogs and their humans.

Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive:

📍 Where?
Uttoxeter Racecourse, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 8BD.

📅 When?
Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th September 2026
10am - 4pm both days.

🎟️ Tickets
Advance tickets are available online, there will also be tickets on the gate. It is cheaper to book in advance!

Gate prices:
Adult - £13.00
Child - £6.00
Family - £28.00

🎁 Online ticket goody bags

Customers who book online will receive a doggy goody bag sponsored by Blue Pet Co, while stocks last.

🚗 Parking

Parking is FREE and included with your ticket.

🐶 Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely - The Big Bark is designed for dogs and their humans!

Please keep all dogs on leads and we will have water stations available.

🏆 Dog Show
Pebbles Legacy will be running the dog show, with classes including Best Puppy, Best Rescue, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail, Golden Oldie, Junior Handler, Best Family and Circus-Themed Fancy Dress.

It's £2.00 to enter and you can do so on their stand.

🐾 What’s on?
There’ll be loads to get involved with across the weekend, including dog shows, have-a-go activities, performances, interactive activities, dog-focused shopping and more.

Activities are £1.50 a go.

🛍️ Shopping
Expect a huge mix of dog-focused traders offering everything from treats, food and supplements to collars, leads, toys, grooming products, photography and accessories.

🍔 Food & drink
We have food and drink available but you are welcome to bring your own/picnics.

💳 Payments
Most traders will take cash and card, we recommend bringing a little cash with you, just in case!

♿ Accessibility
The event is fully wheelchair/mobility scooter accessible. There are accessible parking and toilets.

🚪 Re-entry
Visitors can leave and come back on the same day.

📱 Tickets on arrival
Please download your tickets ready to show at the gate.

📍 Getting there
For those travelling by public transport, the nearest bus stops and Uttoxeter Railway Station are around an 8-minute walk from the racecourse. Visitors arriving on foot should use the main entrance.

Flyball Update 🐾

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, flyball will no longer be taking place at The Big Bark, Uttoxeter this weekend.

We know some of you may have been looking forward to seeing it, so we wanted to let you know in advance.

There’s still loads happening across the weekend, including dog shows, have-a-go activities, canine first aid demos, heelwork to music, shopping, food and plenty more.

A message from Pebbles Legacy (running the dog show at The Big Bark, Uttoxeter) 🥰

"Could we ask that ALL dogs are on a lead at all times, with NO flexi leads/extendables to be used in the event arena between 10am-4pm and also no children to be left in control of any dogs on the day unless an adult is present.

We will be operating a "Traffic Light" system on the day for all dogs. There will be ribbons available to pop on throughout the day for all participating dogs for their safety & the safety of others.

🐾Yellow = Caution (Can be Nervous)🐾
🐾Green = Friendly🐾
