‘Event on the hill’

Our venue is situated on one of the highest points on the Isle of Wight offering beautiful panoramic views and stunning sunsets. With the rolling fields as a backdrop it is an ideal setting for your Wedding Reception, Special Celebration, Conference or Marketing Event.

We offer a fully dressed marquee, tailored to your requirements, with large panoramic windows which frame the beauty of the surrounding area, letting in an abundance of natural light.

Our in house catering team will sit down with you to discuss your catering needs. We can offer anything from a buffet, bbq, hog roast or a full sit down dinner banquet.

We can offer arrival drinks and a selection of wines for the main meal. We also have our range of fully stocked bars, which include our popular and locally sourced Cocktail Bar and Mermaid Gin Bar for later in the evening.

Drinks packages can be discussed should you have any specific requirements.

Wight Pop-Up Bars, together with The Chequers Inn proudly hosted a major international dinner last night for 490 MNE 2025 conference delegates. Guests enjoyed an evening that celebrated the very best of Island produce, complemented by outstanding entertainment that showcased the creativity and spirit of the Isle of Wight.

The night concluded with a ferry journey back to Southampton, leaving delegates with lasting memories of the Island’s warm hospitality and unique character. Events like this not only highlight what our venues can achieve, but also shine a spotlight on the Isle of Wight as a destination for both leisure and business gatherings.

We provided our converted horsebox trailer running it as just a beer and cider bar, a separate mermaid gin & spirits bar and a separate wine bar plus a Prosecco table at the entrance to the marquee. We decorated the marquee in a rustic farm theme. We provided 6 different food stations (hog roast, beef brisket, fish & chips, pizzas, sausage & mash and bbq with beef burgers & hotdogs). Dessert was cheese and biscuits, cake & Isle of Wight ice creams. It was a great night which kept up to 20 staff very busy. Thank you to SDC Marquees for the amazing set up of the huge marquee.

Wight Pop-Up Bars have had a very busy couple of weeks at the SailGP event in Southampton.

We used our bar trailer as a coffee trailer for the event serving Island Roasted coffee which went down very well and lots of positive feedback from team crews.

It was a beautiful sunny day yesterday in Southampton for our 300+ awards staff party event where we served wine, beer, spirits & soft drinks along with a bbq serving chicken skewers, burgers, hot dogs, sides & our lovely assorted pizzas. It was a lovely event with live music and the sunshine was an added bonus to be by the water. We also was on day 9 of our 23 day coffee trailer event with some pretty coffees going out the door.

We don’t just cater for outside bars or food at events, our converted horsebox trailer is very versatile and can be used as a barista coffee trailer, using fresh coffee from Island Roasted ☕️ 🫘

What an amazing 4 days serving drinks at both the Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries terminal and the FastCat terminal in Portsmouth to all the festival goers on their way to the IOW Festival. We served lager, cider, spirits and fabulous cocktails made for us by the Isle Of Wight Cocktail Co to lots of amazing customers.

We then served sausage & bacon baps and burgers to all festival goers returning to the island on Monday at both Wightlink Fishbourne car ferry terminal & the FastCat Ryde Pier Head terminal.

Thanks also to the Wightlink staff who were all amazing and so friendly and helpful to us all.

We have some very exciting events lined up. Coming next is the Wight Wheels classic car & bike show and then a 26 days long event serving drinks and lunches to Sail GP set up staff and participants in Southampton, plus food & bars for a large staff party beginning of July.
