Welcome back to my standout series, let’s take a look at J&Ns incredible standouts!

The fashion 💃
Not only did the bride wear four incredible outfits, the groom did too! The bridal party and groomsmen were also in beautifully designed garments, all in blue to represent Oxford as this is where the couple met

The ceremony ⛪️
How stunning is this chapel?! It’s a beautiful ceremony venue in its own right but very special to J&N as they studied there 🤍

The Grannies 🫶
I mean the photos speak for themselves don’t they? Just icons. Why do you need flower girls when you can have lantern grannies, so so special 💫

The Baraat 🥁
A dance procession that took over Oxford, lead by incredible dhol drummers and a DJ truck, need I say anymore?! A true celebration and even the rain stopped.

I absolutely loved working with J&N and helping them create this utterly incredible weekend.

Welcome to my new series, standout moments. First up C&Ms incredible Oxfordshire wedding.

The setting
Picture perfect Oxfordshire village. Beautiful church with gorgeous stained glass window. Then back to a stunning Sperry tent adorned with gorgeous florals and neutral tones.

The florals
C had a strong vision for the florals. Gorgeous gypsophila teamed with the white roses and a touch of greenery made every single bouquet and arrangement breathtaking.

The children
Often a controversial topic when it comes to weddings but these little characters stole the show 🫶

The dance floor
I don’t need to say much about this one, just look at the photos! This couple and their guests certainly knew how to party 🪩💃

MOVE MOUNTAINS

Today I spent a fabulous few hours with fellow wedding suppliers Nicola and Glen, chatting about this year’s weddings and reflecting on how lucky I’ve been to work with the loveliest couples. The connections we have made and their kindness has made my job such a joy whether it’s being mentioned in speeches, receiving thoughtful gifts, or reading the sweetest Google reviews. Those moments are exactly why I love what I do.

It isn’t always this way. Every supplier remembers the trickier weddings that can leave you feeling like you’re walking on eggshells.

This year has been a beautiful reminder that when couples are kind, collaborative and trusting of their wedding planner (or any supplier) they really do get the best of me and I will go the extra mile. Here’s to more amazing couples, more wonderful weddings and more mountains moved!

One of my favourite tips is to repurpose your ceremony flowers for the reception.🌸

Meadow aisle arrangements aren’t just gorgeous for walking down the aisle, they can later frame the venue or marquee entrance, dress the ends of long tables, highlight the cake display or bring the stage and dance floor alive.

A beautiful way to get the most out of your flowers.
