I love where we live; the sea five minutes in one direction, the forest five minutes in the other. BUT…. I also love a fun, fast-paced London wedding; busy traffic, fascinating architecture and just a vibrant energy! … and is it even a London wedding without a double decker bus in the shot?!

I haven’t done fairs ‘properly’ for a while, but do you know what? Times are tough. Competition is strong and the industry is evolving. So I’m putting myself back out there. And I’ve had an absolute blast doing it. Loved working with Sally from as always; it’s rare to be able to create awesomeness with someone else from just a sentence or two, but we always seem to do it! Embracing the pink, yellow and green for springy, Eastery, ginghamy greatness. Shots by whilst as the fantastic . With music from , it was proper Bo!

One of my favourite winter wedding spaces is the Jubilee Hall at . The dark wood and luxe tapestries have a colonial feel which worked just perfectly with this monochrome shoot. I’m back there in March for their next wedding fair and CANNOT WAIT to create something befitting of the space. Any suggestions for a spring colour palette… Pics by legends

Making an entrance for your wedding breakfast is now my favourite thing to do! First used for the church ceremony, these columns made a great welcome for guests, even on the wettest and windiest of days! Grace wanted a spring-like feel to her blooms with lots of foliage. Not a problem - a few paper whites, chamomile and a rummage at and POW 💥 Springtime in winter. Sorted.

Has anyone ventured out today?! It’s absolutely bloody freezing 🥶 January is such a weird month; the Christmas weddings are done and Valentine’s Day isn’t yet here, so it’s all about the recharge and then the prep! I’m trying my best just to stay cosy and this shot from is managing to do that by capturing the rich burgundy tones these guys chose for their special day. All I need now is a log fire 🔥 Bring on the spring! .hotel

As much as I’m excited for what 2025 may bring, I’m also feeling a little cautious… the wedding season looks like it’s going to be very different this year, but I’m hoping this will give me the opportunity to pursue some other floristry adventures and also see the summer beyond weddings! The out of office is on and it’s time to sit back and feel pretty bloody proud of the summer I’ve had this year. Grateful to all the couples who put their trust in me, but mostly, so happy that I still love being a florist, even when times get tough.
