A huge thank you to all of the wonderful traders who joined at England’s MedFest 2024!

The magic of the weekend was taken home by many with medieval memorabilia from mead to hand made crafts, and clothing to jewellery.

The sun is shining, the gates are open and we are eagerly greeting our royal guests!

Despite the heavens opening during the morning yesterday, that didn’t stop us! When attending today, wear suitable footwear and take care of your step on our medieval grounds!

The rain came and left but we were here to stay, to enjoy a marvellous medieval day.

We had a great time to start our favourite weekend of the year, being thrown back in time to enjoy an experience and taste of the past.

Hands up who wants to get hands on this weekend! Our festival is offering many have-a-go activities and workshops for all ages.

You can try your hand at arrow-making, leathercraft, tablet weaving, harp school, brass rubbing, calligraphy, medieval illumination, or even blacksmithing!
