Edward Scissorhands, a batman fajita and a water trampoline... all in a day's crèche!

We love returning to cities we know so well - to be fair, there aren't many we don't after 30+ years of exploring them - and this water trampoline in Manchester is always a huge draw for the children!

This is just a snapshot of what we got up to with the children this weekend at National Education Union's REPS Conference at Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre while their parents attended the conference.

Thank you to the NEU for making your event inclusive to families as always, and thank you to the Holiday Inn for looking after us - the children thought the food was 'amazing'!

Jumping, splashing and uber amounts of creativity last weekend at NEU Reps Conference in Manchester!

We do love a water trampoline and our very own Edward Scissorhands looks to have got busy with lunch creating Batman fajitas!!

Public events can be amazing family days out - often just for the atmosphere alone!

But in big crowds, children can get separated from parents in seconds. That’s why we set up a Lost Child Point right in the heart of the celebrations and create a safe, calm space where children can be cared for and reunited with their parents quickly.

Have you ever added a leaf to a Gratitude Tree with your child?

If you've been to a Nipperbout Stay & Play, the chances are you may have!

Seeing as this Sunday is World Gratitude Day, we thought we'd invite you to take a digital leaf with your child... It's a lovely way to encourage them to reflect on their feelings and vocalise their thoughts.

Children can draw or write something they are grateful for, or happy about, or wish for and add it to the leaves of the tree.

So, what would you add to a Gratitude Tree?

This weekend we spent time with the children in Birmingham at the at-event crèche.

From creating their own hospital, to creating masterpieces and playing with coouds, the children had a blast… and so did our !

Creating safe, happy spaces for children means parents can relax, focus, and feel truly welcome.

Parents - when was the last time you had to miss an event you wanted to attend because of childcare?

Thankfully, more organisers are recognising that childcare support isn’t a “nice to have” and are making childcare a key part of their events.

Our founder, Janthea Brigden, recently spoke to Cvent about the small changes that make a huge difference, from on-site crèches to flexible, family-friendly spaces, lactation areas and buggy parks.

Have you seen one of our sponsored crèches?

We’ve been running them since the 90s — giving children amazing spaces to play and create (sometimes even making their own signage and props!) while parents enjoy the event stress-free.

It’s a win for everyone: parents, children, organisers and sponsors. And yes… Jammy Dodgers were definitely involved.

Our event crèches may only be in place for a few days however, our standards are always permanent.

Glitter, giggles and some very dubious 90s fashion!

Remember The Clothes Show Live, The Caravan or Ideal Home Show in the early 2000s? Take a trip down memory lane with us!

While the venues are bigger and the tech is better and teh events evolved, one thing hasn’t changed:

🟣 Children still need somewhere to be themselves and let off steam
🟣 Parents still need to know their little ones are safe and happy
🟣 And we still bring the same care and magic to every event we’re part of

From toddlers to teens, we’ve helped families enjoy hundreds of shows over the years and looking back at pics like these make us proud to still be doing so today!
