Nipperbout is an event childcare company. We provide OFSTED 'Outstanding' childcare and children's Caring for between 1 and 300+ children at any one time!

Nipperbout has been providing outstanding care & 'edutainment' for children for 30 years! We cater for children aged 0 - 17 years operating at events nationwide. Our staff, known as the 'Purple People' are trained to care for children with a variety of needs and abilities. From school teachers to circus performers our Purple People have a range of skills and talents to support and entertain children in our care. Currently Nipperbout works with a number of large unions, event organisers and operates at some of the largest venues in Britain and Europe. Nipperbout also offers training and consultancy on all things children, specialising in children at events.

Warning! We’re going to use the C word!

It might seem early, but with Christmas parties only a few months away, we'll be retiring our 2026 theme of Epic Play Quest and planning all the fun we'll be having with your children through 2027!

We haven’t decided what's next yet, but the ideas are starting to come... from staff and the children themselves!

If your little ones have any ideas the'y like to share, we're all ears!

It starts at the door.

Our security gates might not be the most exciting part of the Nipperbout crèche, but they are an important one.

They help us keep track of who is coming in and out and make sure children are safely checked in and out of our care.

Security, a friendly welcome and plenty of Purple People to make children feel at home.

What more could we ask for?

We know that bringing your child to a work event can feel like a compromise.

Will I actually be able to concentrate on what I’m there to do?

We just love returning to events year after year, especially those that always involve travel for their delegates like ESMO which moves around Europe.

We can't wait to greet familiar faces and meet new families as we provide fun, adventure and a safe haven for the children while their parents absorb all the conference has to offer!

Who says corporate parties are just for the grown ups?

We loved returning to Wells & Co's annual summer party to create a children's area where young guests could enjoy a day full of fun while their parents relaxed and celebrated with colleagues.

From games and activities to creative play and lots (and lots!) of water fights, we made sure there was something for everyone.

When the people leaving their children with you are teachers... you know they'll spot the details!

The good news is... we love the details.

From our safeguarding procedures and sign-in systems to getting to know every child and making sure they have an amazing time, we know that giving parents complete peace of mind is just as important as the fun.

We've supported NEU conferences and events for many years now, since the 90s to be precise (!) and feedback like this means the world to our Purple People.

Goldfish for lunch anyone?! 😂

Whenever we run a Nipperbout crèche, we make sure children have a say in their own experience.

They help create the rules for their space, our teenagers are involved in decisions like phone time, and we invite every child who wants to to complete a feedback form so they can tell us what they enjoyed and what they'd like to see next time.

It's amazing how often their ideas help us improve.

This lovely feedback came from one of our young visitors at Cannes Lions... it was the final sentence that really made us smile.
