Good afternoon everyone . Dad and I have some exciting news…

As both of us can rarely say no to helping out such lovely people we have met along our catering journey, we are still keeping our hand in with helping you entertain in a variety of ways . Here are some examples :
Canapé waves for drinks parties .

Dear all
It is with sadness that we report our tidings that we have made the decision to retire from our position of proprietors of Caffi’r Ceunant . It is a decision made with careful consideration over a period of time, but it’s the right one for us. The cafe will not be re-opening until a suitable successor is found to replace us.
The past 11 years have been wonderful to say the very least, and we have met some lovely people along our journey . Thank you everyone for your support over such memorable times you spent with us. We will miss you .
Time for Tommy to hang up his apron and his “crocs” and enjoy some well earned retirement at last .

Hello everyone .
Apologies for not posting this a little sooner but after much negotiation and risk assessment Caffi’r Ceunant will be remaining closed until at least the first week of September, and even that will be under review as August passes on. It was a very hard decision to make as we value our customers as friends and family, and to safe guard everyone including our own families the doors will remain closed until further notice . Our next discussion will be based on how the situation is reviewed by the government, rises or falls in cases, and changes in social distancing regulations which in our assessment caused too many difficulties to be able to operate safely . We hope you understand . Sadly takeaway won’t be available either due to similar reasons .
Will post updates when they are available .
We all miss you, and each other . ###

Hello everyone . Under the guidelines of Public Health Wales and with a very heavy heart we have taken the decision to close our doors as of today to safeguard our vulnerable customers and indeed ourselves and our family. With rising cases and fatalities it is not the sensible thing to do to encourage public gatherings of any kind, and this is our main concern . Times will be hard and we shall miss the banter and joy you all bring us on a regular basis but there is no more we can do.
Hilary (that’s me☺️) is looking at the possibility of helping those self isolating from next week with a series of home cooked meals delivered within the locality . Will keep you posted on that one as soon as I have had time to think .
It’s with great sadness that I make this announcement . Keep safe everyone, see you on the other side eh? 😢

The first wild garlic pesto of the year . It could be a short year due to the leaves springing far too early and therefore in threat of a hard freeze which renders them useless . But today I used some just in case . Delicious 😍. The food of nature always tastes much better 🥰
