Ordering a bespoke, delicious, all fresh ingredient cheesecake - I’m sorry if you think this expensive
but …

Unlike supermarket cheesecakes, which are mass produced to spread the cost across, use, for the most part, inferior products, preservatives and essences to flavour so they can sit for lengthy spells in a shop fridge before selection.
Or
A homemade cheesecake made by yourself or a friend/family member and don’t factor in paying for someone’s time (which I HOPE you are not expecting me to do it for free?!)

The numbers

3 hours labour (includes shopping/travelling/washing & tidying up)
Cheesecake ingredients (which are actually more expensive than the ingredients in a cake)
Real vanilla pods
Real butter
Home baked biscuits for the base
Fruits/chocolates (which again ARE expensive)
Boards/boxes/decorations
Electric/insurance/petrol for travelling/any extra ‘hidden’ costs

So no, I wasn’t confused when you asked for a price and I quoted one for a cheesecake.
Having someone else to cater for a large event where you want a ‘WOW’ factor is a luxury that I completely understand is not in everyone’s budget, but please be kind with your follow up remarks as what you say does affect us ♥️

Delicious moist Prosecco sponges with homemade prosecco & strawberry compote, doused in a strawberry & prosecco syrup and topped with silky smooth champagne coloured whipped butter frosting.
Adorned with all the things a queen could need, crown, flowers, prosecco and macarons 🙌🌟
