What a lovely way to start the new year, by receiving these beautiful photos of Martha’s and Bertie’s wedding day.

It was such a joy to work with Martha on her bespoke duchess satin wedding dress trimmed with Swarovski pearls.

Martha came to all the fittings with her mum, they both were so joyful and enthusiastic, and had the most beautiful mother and daughter relationship.

Working with Martha on her bespoke wedding dress and veil was a total joy.
Martha is one of the happiest and most positive people I have ever met. I absolutely loved our fitting sessions in the studio.

Martha chose a beautiful silk crepe fabric for her bias cut slip, with self covered bridal buttons, and the most delicate silk chiffon fabric for her overdress.
The Cathedral veil was in beautiful silk feel tulle.

I felt honoured when Harriet came to me asking if I could rework her Grandmother’s 1940’s silk satin wedding dress, for her wedding day… the dress had huge sentimental value, her grandmother had worn it on her wedding day , then again by Harriet’s mother in the 80’s….
The main change to the dress was the neckline, and bodice… which took many hours of careful unpicking and re-stitching…
Thank you Harriet for trusting me with such a beautiful heirloom 🤍
