Newgale Is at Risk — Your Voice Matters
Pembrokeshire County Council plans to build a new £40 million road through the heart of the Brandy Brook valley, an area of real environmental sensitivity. £2 million has already been spent on consultants, with the current coastal road set to be completely removed.
This will have huge consequences for:
• Local businesses that rely on passing trade and easy access
• The stunning view of Newgale Beach, loved by locals and visitors alike
• The natural beauty and ecology of the Brandy Brook valley
Worryingly, these plans are moving forward without fully considering alternatives, such as those proposed by STUN (Save The Unique Newgale) — which offer more sustainable, cost-effective options.
If you feel strongly about this, please email your concerns to AtkinsRéalis, the consultants overseeing the project.
Take time to look at the full plans and speak up before it’s too late.
This is a pivotal moment for Newgale — let’s make sure it’s done right.
