🌟 Supporting Our Community! 🌟

We’ve had a little refresh at My Playful World and would love to give some of our much-loved toys a new home 🧸💛

To spread a little kindness we’d like to donate our preloved toys to a local nursery or childminder in our community!

✨ To get involved simply comment below or tag a nursery or childminder who you think would love to receive them.
💫 We’ll then do a random draw on Monday (13.10.25) evening and contact the lucky nursery or childminder to arrange collection.

Let’s give these toys a second life and support those who help little ones play and grow every day 💕

✨ Back to school, back to routine… and a brand new chapter for us too! ✨

This week so many of your little ones are heading back through the school gates (don’t all cheer at once 😅). My own son, Josef, has just started Year 1 – so I know exactly how those first-day nerves (and excitement!) feel. 💛

We’ve absolutely loved welcoming you to My Playful World over the summer holidays – it’s been busy, joyful and full of imagination. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us.

For the younger ones not starting school just yet, why not keep the fun going and book a session at our imaginative play centre? And for the parents waving children off at the school gates – a hot coffee and slice of cake in peace might be just what you need. ☕🍰

It’s not just a fresh start for the children – this September also marks the beginning of a new journey for me as I take on running My Playful World. I can’t wait to see what the year ahead holds and I’m so excited to share it all with you. 💫

✨Exciting news✨

I’m Billie and I’m so happy to introduce myself as the new owner of My Playful World! I’m sure some of you will recognise me from your play sessions.

I first discovered My Playful World back in 2022 when I brought my little boy Josef then just 2 years old. We both loved it straight away and ever since then I’ve dreamed of having a play centre of my own.

Since April 2024 I’ve been lucky enough to work here as part of the team and now I feel so excited to take on this next chapter. By trade, I’m a primary school teacher, but imaginative play has always been something I truly believe in.

Over the summer I’ve been working closely with Tara to make sure the handover is as smooth as possible (and I’ve even been brushing up on my baking skills!) so everything you know and love about MPW will continue just the same.

I can’t wait to welcome you and your little ones through the doors to play, imagine and make memories with us 💛

Goodbye, but not farewell 💛

After nearly five wonderful years of running My Playful World here in Tuxford, it’s time for me to pass the baton. This little business has been such a big part of my life, but now it’s ready for a fresh chapter with someone who can give it the same love, energy, and care it deserves.

To all our amazing customers – rest assured, nothing is changing for you! The playful experience you know and love will continue, and over the summer the new owner has even been joining me for baking lessons – in fact, some of the recent treats you’ve enjoyed were made by her!

Stay tuned for Monday, when I’ll be introducing you to the lovely person taking the reins. Exciting times are ahead for My Playful World!
