Glam and Go appointments are go!

I have mixed feelings about party season. Yes there is sparkle and high heels and Prosecco, but there is also small talk and self consciousness, and kind of just wanting to go home and watch telly.

There is also not really wanting to put a full face of makeup on when you have been at work all day.

My kit weighs a tonne. I’ve tried to slim it down but damn this stuff is heavy.
Most of the old and stunning wedding venues I get to visit date way back before the lift so it’s always nice to see one!

Well last weekend was an unusual one! Thanks to an invite from an old friend I spent the day doing makeup touch ups for three film icons. I’m not usually one for selfies but here I am backstage in a very beautiful room with terrible lighting and nowhere to plug lights in!

It was my 16th wedding anniversary this year. One of the things about working in the industry is that you get so see so many beautiful ceremonies and see so many creative and individual couples. It sometimes makes you kind of wish you could do it all again. ✨This was Cristina and Sully’s wedding at last year. Beautifully photographed by 🐴❤️I want a woodland ceremony with tiny ponies!!
