Yes, it may be considered the less glamorous part of your wedding preparations, but wedding budgets are a super important topic and something that is essential to tackle in the very early stages of your wedding planning.

Too many couples put off discussing their wedding budget as it is all too often a difficult conversation to have. It can be stressful and a lot of people don’t know where to start when it comes to organising a budget.

Plus there are the added awkward conversations around who is contributing what – are the parents and in-laws gifting any money? If so, how much? These are often conversations that couples don’t want to get into, but knowing how much of a wedding fund you have from the offset is crucial and will help you to plan your big day with ease.

Often when I am chatting to people about what I do, they are unsure of exactly what it is a wedding planner actually does.

A wedding planner is a professional who can guide and support you with many aspects of your wedding planning, whether this is giving advice on the design and style, managing and coordinating the day itself or any aspect of planning in between.

The time leading up to your wedding day should be enjoyable and stress-free and that's where a wedding planner can help. They are not only there to assist you with your plans, but they can be there as your main support throughout the lead up to your big day; offering friendly advice, listening to your worries, coming up with solutions, reassuring you and helping you to bring your dreams to life.

A wedding planner can help you with as much or as little as you require, so if you still want to plan the majority of your day, but you feel you might like some help with certain elements, such as the general 'wedmin', then you might find it beneficial to get in touch with a planner.
