Let’s get together and share our nerdy knowledge to raise money for a good cause!

Join and for a Nerdy Charity Quiz Night, with all proceeds going towards Tommy’s pregnancy and baby charity. Tommy’s is a charity funding pregnancy research in the UK, aiming to reduce the devastating impact of pregnancy and baby loss. It’s a charity very close to the hearts of Jake and Lucy from Archer’s comics, with all ticket sales from the event going directly to the cause.

With raffle prizes up for grabs, come and have some fun and prove you’re the ultimate nerd, with the cafe opening for food and drink from 5:30pm and the Quiz beginning at 7:30pm. - Piranha Cafe, 19 Pydar Street 7:30pm Ages 18+

Last night Tin Squadron Cornwalls Star Wars X-wing club met . Away from their usual spacecraft due to it being taken over by A Mariokart tournament 4 pilots battled it out in another location at the cafe!

Although a few of their regular pilots where engaged in other deployments this evening some epic dogfights where still had in preparation for their hosting of the Cornish nationals.

Yes four players, the 5th one you see here is not the arial ace know as Huge (if you know you know) but instead some sneaky photoshopping! “The fast-paced Wild West-themed card game of hidden roles and deduction. Play as Lawmen, Outlaws and Renegades. Reveal your hand and engage in Spaghetti Western shootouts! are you working with the Sheriff or scheming against them?

Starts from 1pm most Saturdays, just drop in no prior experience needed. Entry is £5 and allows you to stay for boardgame club the same evening if you wish for no extra cost!
