What I do:
3 courses, choice of soup or salad starters, mains and desert. I can prepare fresh home baked breads and cake, quiches, soups or salads i.e. pasta, potato, rice and couscous salad for a light l

unch. I do a continental style breakfast with fresh fruit, musli, porridge, yoghurt, cheese and cold meat platters, toast etc. Example menu:
Carrot and roasted pepper soup
Fish pie and peas/salad
Lime and mint quark

Cornish Mackerel and pear chicory salad
Coq au vin with rice and carrots
Rhubarb/apple crumble with cream

Marinated beetroot with grilled goats cheese salad
Roast Lamb pots and green beans with mint and caper sauce
Plum Kompott with vanilla cream sauce

Tomato soup
Spinach pie with salad, olives and tsatziki
summer trifle/fruit salad

Scallops or/and salad
Monk fish wrapped in pancetta, pots and mange tout/peas
Lemon posset with ginger Kompott

Finished preparing the last meal for a small group of photographers in Assynt, Scotland before the long drive south to Cornwall tomorrow. Menu: Roast pepper with anchovies as a starter, Fish Pie with Sugarsnap peas for Mains and Banana and chocolate quark for pudding with a cherry on top! 🍒

WILD - FORAGED SALAD. While waiting for things to move forward I decided to do some foraging. Hopefully I will be back up and running at some point in the future showing photos and creating some lovely delicious meals for happy customers. For the time being I'm sitting back and waiting for news.

All collected in the Black Forest, Germany… I am amazed at what is around us and edible, full of nutrients, medicinal properties and life force energy. Young fresh beech tree leaves, hazelnut leaves, germander speedwell, yarrow, dandelion, spignel, herb-robert, water forget-me-knot, wild thyme, Dog rose petals… and the list goes on and on..
