A gorgeous start to the day, nothing says “good morning” like the smell of freshly baked bread. The breakfast rolls are ready and the griddle all set to go from 10am. We’ve got more of the stunning lemon meringue donuts and our venison burger is always proving a top hit, we’re here untill 3pm in the sunshine!

For everyone else, there’s lemon meringue donuts in the cabinet today, alongside all the other sweet treats, our venison, pear and Stilton burger is on the specials board, and breakfast is on the go from 10am.

Well I don’t think this was forecast, but a great excuse to put our venison (thanks Duchy Game ) pear and Stilton burgers on for the whole weekend. Served in our homemade potato rolls, with cranberry sauce and fried onions, add crispy fries if you’d like.
An admin point I’m afraid, due to ongoing hospital appointments, we’re having to close earlier today at 2pm, so today is 10-2.

So today’s treats include the return of our wild boar hot dogs, served with onions and American mustard, or can be topped with our 8 hour braised brisket or chilli con carne. We’ve also got apple crumble and custard donuts alongside, lemon curd, biscoff, Nutella or jam. There’s a batch of brownies just come out of the oven and as usual the bread is fresh this morning ready for breakfast and burgers. We’re here untill 3 and the grill will be ready from 10.

Start the weekend early with a full English, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, homemade bread/toast, beans, mushrooms and a crispy hash brown. Or go for our freshly made floured baps filled with any combination. If you’re feeling a bit healthier, then our homemade ciabatta toast, topped with smashed avocado, fresh tomato and sea salt may be your bag! Either way, the coffees on and we’re here untill 3.
