🥂 Wishing all Fathers and Grandfathers a very happy “Father’s Day” today.

🙏 To those we have lost, we honour you in our thoughts, and we are grateful for all you have taught us.

Today we are celebrating with our signature Regency Afternoon Cream Tea in the Ballroom, and we are looking forward to welcoming all our special guests and their families for a wonderful afternoon at magnificent Parade House, winner of the “Best Wedding and Party Venue in Wiltshire Award 2026” 🏆

☕️ Not every Cream Tea is the same…

It tastes better on real antique English bone china, with fine tea poured from delicate 200 year old Regency teapots.

It looks better in a beautiful Georgian Ballroom, with performances by the Jane Austen Dancers of Bath.

It feels better holding antique silver cutlery and hand embroidered vintage napkins.

🥂 And then there’s always a glass of Prosecco to wash down the delicious freshly baked cakes, scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

🥂 We’re so excited to have been notified of our award 🥇 for “The Best Wedding and Party Venue in Wiltshire 2026” in the Muddy Stilettos Awards.

Thank you for everyone who voted for Parade House and helped us win this prestigious award for the third year running - and to put the County Town of Wiltshire centre stage once more.

It was barely 4 years ago that we bought and saved Grade 1 Listed Parade House from dereliction and the threat of being turned into 11 bedsits.

Today it’s a thriving multi award-winning events venue, a local treasure hosting everything from Weddings, Baby Showers, Conferences, Exhibitions, Afternoon Cream Teas, fine dining dinners, open days, themed and costumed events, cocktail nights, film screenings in our luxury cinema, the Jane Austen Festival, TV location shoots, private bookings and celebrations, antique valuation days and so much more.

It’s been a true labour of love for a retired couple in their mid sixties and we are so grateful to our incredible loyal and hardworking part time team, and to our wonderful and loyal guests who voted for Parade House, enabling us to fly the flag for Trowbridge and for Wiltshire once more! 🏆

🥂 Who says fathers don’t want to be spoiled?

Treat your father or grandfather to a delicious Regency Afternoon Cream Tea in the beautiful surroundings of Grade 1 Listed Parade House.

Make it a family affair and celebrate the men in your life - with a mouthwatering selection of finger sandwiches, scones and clotted cream with strawberry jam, freshly baked cakes all served on vintage china in the stunning Ballroom of Parade House.

If he’d prefer his favourite tipple to a cup of fine tea or a glass of Prosecco, then we have a fully stocked bar in the historic vaults which will be open especially for the event serving everything from ice cold beers to spirits, wines and cocktails.

And just when you least expect, you might even be surprised that he get ups to dance and learn a few Regency steps following a performance by the wonderful Jane Austen Dancers of Bath!

☀️It may not be Flaming June yet but our little front garden is blooming and welcoming the rain.

The roses are bursting through the railings and the lavender beds are in full bloom - it really does smells like Provence 🪻

The bees can’t get enough of the rich pollen which may well find its way into our next harvest of Parade House Honey. 🍯

When we planted up the garden from scratch just three years ago, and it’s matured beautifully.

If you’re attending one of our public or private events at magnificent Parade House, make sure to stop and admire our small patch of nature while it’s looking so lovely ❤️

Regency splendour returns once again to Parade House Trowbridge this September as part of The Jane Austen Festival, in Bath. Enjoy a unique Regency Costumed event at one of Wiltshire’s finest Georgian buildings, for this year's Festival 2026.

Come for a delicious Full Afternoon Cream Tea with Champagne and Entertainment

Dressed in your Regency finery, you’ll be escorted by "Mr Darcy" on a short 18 min train journey from Bath through the beautiful scenic countryside to the magnificent Parade House in Trowbridge. Enjoy a private history tour of Grade 1 listed Georgian mansion Parade House from its owners, followed by a lavish Champagne Afternoon Cream Tea in the Grand Ballroom and then Regency Parlour Games & Entertainment.

For the past three years, Parade House has welcomed visitors from all over the world to Parade House as part of the annual Jane Austen Festival. It's an unforgettable experience and many of our previous visitors described as one of the highlights of the Festival. We look forward to welcoming you this September!
