We know we are very behind on other events and posts … but something new is coming this way … straight from Cybertron to come pick on Optimus, Megatron has landed!!!! Visiting the mechanic for a check over before being released in the wild to cause chaos! Well that was an adventure for Optimus today. Poor Transformer had to travel in disguise and hidden from public eyes into Central London!!! Hot journey for him, thankfully it was a cool venue and really fun …. He didn’t get up to much mischief (he wasn’t allowed to!!!) but never-the-less he still thoroughly enjoyed himself 😉 😉

Sunday 5th July saw us travel East across the country to Weeley for an event raising money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity … organised by Alex Carrigan and via his Retro Toys and Collectibles Shop … held on the Brokhowes Farm if you want to go visit 😉 …. Anyway, there was enough there to keep Tigger amused all day … bouncy castles in the morning and with the Raw Laser Essex keeping them occupied from mid morning right through to the end of the afternoon!! Optimus and Tigger also got to feed the animals - though it does say on the sign that the animals are on a strict diet so we wonder if that includes Tigger - lol … Optimus had a go at Axe throwing from the Scouts and then at the end of the day Adventures Of Shadow And Storm gave Optimus and Tigger inflatable light sabres to play with - which did keep them both occupied for a good 10mins! Oh and we were kindly looked after with Pizza for lunch, which was gorgeous! The Ice Cream can from Hurley's ice's Ice Cream Van Hire Clacton on sea went down an absolute treat in the heat! Tigger looked mighty relieved for the cool down 😉 … wonderfully day out, and hopefully a good amount of money was raised for the charity 🙂

Saturday 4th July we travelled to the other side of London to for a Transformers takeover event…. Working alongside the awesome Peterbuilt version of Optimus and also his G1 counterpart always makes a huge statement! Hollywood Movie Cars were there with Bumblebee too 🙂 … To bring the magic to life there was then Optimus, Bee and Barricade in attendance as walkabout variations!! Sooooo many photos taken throughout the day, and so many smiles and laughter of joy! A wonderfully busy event and the weather was fantastic! And Optimus did his usual of heading off to do a spot of shopping and also nearly gained a pizza from Fireaway Pizza - lol
