IT'S OKAY!

Amongst all the worries of parenthood are the worries that come with walking into a baby group for the first time! It’s the unknown and can be nerve wracking to say the least!

We want you to know that whether you’ve been up all night or rushing in 10minutes late, whether you’re bottle or breast feeding, your child cries or sleeps through the whole session - IT’S OKAY!

We understand every one of those worries and we can guarantee that there will be someone else in the room feeling the same things with the same worries.

The biggest step is getting out of the house so we already think you’re amazing!

We are always ready with a hot drink and a listening ear for any worries you might have about coming along.

Don’t let your fears stop you making magical memories with your little one 💜💛

That’s okay. A new room, new faces and new sounds can take a little getting used to.

At Jiggy Wrigglers, they can stay close, enjoy a cuddle or watch while you join in. There’s no need to rush them into the middle.

Their first Jiggy dance might be a tiny wiggle on your lap — and we love those too!

Every little wriggler is welcome, just as they are.

Is there anything more magical than seeing Christmas through your little one’s eyes?

It’s not just about the songs and the dancing…

It’s about the awe and wonder and those special little moments spent together.

🎄 We can’t wait to have a very merry Jiggy Christmas with you!

Taking turns is a huge learning curve for little ones and takes lots of practice, repetition and positive reinforcement 💜💛

How do Jiggy Wrigglers promote turn taking?

Well actually in lots of ways but here are a couple of examples.
Part of our sessions always involve helping to put the instruments and puppets back in the bag and it always amazes me how quickly it becomes part of the childrens routine 🥰
They work together and are always super proud of themselves when everything is back in the bag.
This may seem like something small but just think how your little one has had to firstly build confidence, then navigate who is picking up which shaker, maybe deal with disappointment when somebody else picks up the colour they wanted and then have to wait for a turn to pop it in the bag!
The proud smile at the end always looks like the journey was worth it 🙂

We also end our mixed sessions with social time and much to the delight of the children the big toy box comes out 🧸🪆

Although there are lots of toys, there are always some that are favourites and this often means sharing. Sometimes this creates big feelings which are all perfectly normal but it always makes my heart smile when I see 2 or 3 little ones sat around a toy, negotiating turns together 💜💛

Just think how important the social interactions at Jiggy Wrigglers can be for little people and big people too 😊

“What’s over there?” The question behind every little explorer! 💜

With colourful props, instruments and new faces around them, it’s understandable that your little one wants a closer look.

At Jiggy Wrigglers, curiosity is welcome. Stay alongside them as they explore, and gently invite them back when something catches their interest.
Sometimes a favourite song or a floating bubble is all it takes!
They can discover Jiggy time one little moment at a time.
