Well. Here it is!
My 10th anniversary.
How I got here I’ll never know! I guess it’s all down to you guys! Without you there would be no chip van!
Don’t get me wrong, there’s lots of other people that have helped along the way too.

Can I thank everyone individually? No.
Should I? Probably. 🤣
My biggest thank though, after you guys, goes to my long suffering parents. I genuinely wouldn’t be so successful without them. So thanks Mum and Dad. 💜

10 YEARS!! Sheesh!
What have I noticed over the years…?
💜 Firstly, the prices! I saw that just 7 years ago cod and chips were £6!
I am truly sorry that the increase over that time has been so much. It has truly been out of my hands, but I hope that you’d agree, the quality of the food couldn’t be compromised.
💜 Secondly, you guys are genuinely my friends now! I love that part of my job. So many of you mean so much to me. I hope you remember that.
I’ve watched babies grow, I’ve watched relationships form, I’ve lost dear customers, I’ve gained new ones, I’ve seen people move away, I’ve seen people move back!
💜 Thirdly, you’ve supported me through thick and thin. Covid. Family losses. Holidays. Price increases. Van (and driver) malfunctions! Getting to grips with a new van! Running out of chips, fish and gas! (Although not all on the same day!)
💜 Fourthly (is that a word, it sounds odd) I’ve learnt to be grateful. What I mean by this is I’ve done multiple parties, events, weddings, etc and I am always honoured to be the one chosen for the special occasions. However, it is rare REALLY RARE that people get back in touch and thank me.
I’m not sure why this is. I’m fairly confident that the service they’ve received and the food I’ve provided has been nothing but the best quality. Yet it is probably less than ten times in the past ten years I’ve received a thanks afterwards. That makes me sad. And it is maybe the one negative I can take away from everything.
So, on that note, please thank those that do provide for you. In any capacity. Because it would mean a great deal to those involved.

Who knew this post would be so long!
Fingers crossed you’ve read to the end as I’d like to thank you all again!
Tonight will be special at work and I will be explain all later on. 🤣
