WE'RE HIRING – HEAD BAKER

We're looking for an exceptional Head Baker to lead our production team.

This is not a role for someone who is happy to "just get the job done." We take enormous pride in every pasty, pie and other baked goods that leave our bakery, and we're looking for someone who shares that mindset.

Whilst it would be ideal, prior pasty making skills are not required and can be taught on the job. Kitchen/cheffing skills are generally transferable into our line of work and would be a great fit but again, not a deal breaker.

The person we're looking for will:
✓ Lead by example and set the pace for the team
✓ Have an obsessive eye for quality and consistency
✓ Take genuine pride in producing products to the highest standard every single day
✓ Stay calm, organised and focused during busy production periods when it gets a bit crazy
✓ Be comfortable managing and motivating a small team
✓ Know how to maintain a 5* food hygiene rating
✓ Be reliable, punctual, proactive and willing to take ownership
✓ Care about efficiency without compromising quality
✓ Understand that details matter because our customers notice them
✓ Work well with the management team to ensure our operation runs smoothly

This is a hands-on leadership role in a busy bakery environment. Some days can be demanding, but they're also incredibly rewarding.

If you're passionate about great food, take pride in your work, and want to play a key role in a growing bakery, we'd love to hear from you.

- 5 days a week with the option to work overtime through busy periods. We are closed on Sunday. Number of days can be negotiable.
- Minimum £14.50ph (depends on experience)
- Approx 30 hours a week based on 5 days. 6am start, sometimes earlier in peak season. Finish between 11 - 1pm.

Just a heads up that we are OPEN tomorrow and it’s going to be a scorcher 🥵

For those traveling, heading home or stocking up for a day down the beach, please help us out by giving us a call in the morning or Facebook message/email to pre-order tonight.

Fresh pasties will be flowing out of the ovens from 08:00.
