Chefdebbiethorpe and her new restaurant! Yipppeee go eat there asap ###

As we welcome in the new season we look forward to working with our amazing team again.

A new addition to the team this year (not that he wasn't the lackey and general all round person before) is my partner Sam.

Our journey forward is going to be epic as we are about to launch our new restaurant . An intimate 20 seater bookings only restaurant in the heart of Torpoint, Cornwall's forgotten corner.
It's been a year and a half of intense work, no free time, no weekends off and no holiday but we did it!

I'm also super proud to announce my daughter will be joining me in the kitchen as she embarks on her career as a chef.
(You will probably see our son in the scenes too, if I can drag him away from his Xbox.)

REVIEW

I had Freathy Farmhouse and Cowshed Weddings in my heart for years. I’d found it on an internet search for elopement weddings many moons back but we’d never done anything about it. Finally in February I decided to get into contact with the lovely Sarah at Cowshed Weddings and from there the most magical, perfect, simple wedding we both wanted just seemed to happen.
We eloped with just two close friends as witnesses and Sarah ensured the four of us had the most perfect time on our day. We arrived in glorious spring sunshine to an utter amazing “sharing platter” for lunch. The food was fabulous and the attention to detail mind blowing. We were all taking photos of the setting and the food. Delicious.
The wedding then took place that afternoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We wanted a simple, rustic, country wedding. The cowshed was romantic, and intimate even just with the four of us. Neither of us could think of anything we would have done differently. Sarah was amazing. She was attentive without being over bearing, she was there when you needed her, she ironed shirts, she took amazing photos when we had no photographer. She was just the kindest most lovely person. Nothing was too much trouble. She even organised our meal in a local restaurant that evening and the taxi to get us there!
If you have ever wanted a Cornish wedding, deep in the countryside but close to a beautiful beach, a rustic, nature inspired, fabulous event then chose Sarah and her Cowshed Wedding venue. We had a perfect time. Thank you Sarah for everything!

CHRISTMAS WREATH WORKSHOPS

It is that time again, time to get your secateurs at the ready and forage for some greenery to make that all important Christmas Wreath for your door.

We are running our Wreath Workshops again this year on the 25th and 9th of December 2023. Accompanied by lots of delicious edible treats, cakes, homemade 2 course lunch and Fizz too.
