I'd just like to say, thank you to all you lovely, caring people out there who sent me get well wishes
What i had , im not sure but it sure did knock me off my feet for a couple of days, not been that rough since I had covid in 2020. I normally try and work through being poorly but by Thursday morning it had got hold and i didnt know how to put one foot in front of the other, not good.
I hope I have turned the corner now and feeling stronger every day.

Well what a long tough day, but most enjoyable and satisfying.
Cream teas at lunch time
Cooking on the bbq at the White Swan Torksey for the charity day for Parkinsons.
And then setting up a large grazing table for a lovely couple , but what ive loved about today, the day has been complemented by some real good music.
Banging tunes while bbq ing.
And then setting up a huge grazing table while listening to the awesome Stolen Fridays doing their sound checks
Absolutely perfect 👌

Just a heads up to all my lovely customers and anyone else who's thinking of calling for a butty or two. The weather is so hot at the minute and talks of getting hotter, we will stop the HOT FOOD COOKING at 11am or there abouts as its such a struggle cooking in such intense heat. We will however have loads of lovely cold options for you and not forgetting a freezer full of ice-creams and lollies. We hope you won't leave us feeling hungry 😁 xx

To all our lovely customers, while we have this extreme heat outside, as you can imagine its even hotter in my kitchen. We will cook hot butties etc while I think we can. But as it gets unbearable I will have to switch off all cooking equipment for our safety.
We do however have a full salad bar, which makes up lovely salad boxes or cold sandwiches of your choice.
Try Quiche and salad, lasagne and salad, ham, tuna, cheese, egg salad etc etc.
I do hope you all understand what im getting at. My stainless steel tables were that warm this afternoon I think i could of cooked an egg on them lol.
We do have a variety of icecreams and lollies to cool you down, please ask.
We are here to feed you all, and we will try our best

Well all you gorgeous people out there, its been an horrendous last two days, with the heat being unbearable, but worse than that, weve had no Internet for card payments.
But rather than say we are cash only we have been giving you lovely customers my bank details and hoping you will transfer.
I just wanted to say a huge thankyou, to you all, I am very lucky to have you guys, support us, and keep coming back for more.
Im told there is a problem in that area which they are trying to fix and could take until Saturday. Please continue to use us for your belly fills even though we have this technical problem.
While im on here, I would also like you all to know, we are closed Monday to Friday next week 1st june to 5th june open again Saturday 6th june ,as Julie and I need a little rest.

Hello you lovely people, im going to be quite blunt and to the point, as I am!
Ive heard so much crap this week about the business that I just want to get it out there and put the record straight.

IM NOT MOVING THE BUISNESS , IVE NO INTENTION TO MOVE , I LOVE IT WHERE I AM.

IM NOT TAKING OVER THE LOCK CAFE

IM NOT CLOSING

I have some very lovely, sincere customers and I want to drive the buisness forward, with new ideas to fill your culinary needs looking after you all.

Hope this puts the record straight for any of you that are concerned.
