We believe you can source relatively inexpensive game that is found in abundance; add a little pork, some curing magic and produce some spectacular results. Europeans have been doing it for years and it's high time we got involved. Good Game is about the right food in the right seasons, with a taste-bud busting experience that’s easy on the wallet. Everything we do is artisan and we can trace the

meat and fish back to the field it came from, or the boat it was caught on. If you want to know what you are eating, and you should, then Good Game is the sensible choice for you.

Picture this: it’s Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market the lights are twinkling ✨, the smell of mulled wine in the air 🍷and you're stood there thinking, “I fancy a homemade pizza when I get in… but not just any toppings on a pizza!”

BOOM 💥 Game changing scenes right there. Absolute 🍕 🧨

You slap that Pepperoni on and it’s not messing about – proper local produce, full of flavour with paprika 🌶️, fennel & garlic 🧄 - with no shrinking into sad little cups! Devon Ruby Beef & Pork or Buffalo 🦬 Pepperoni available

Then the ’Nduja turns up like it’s late to the party but steals the show anyway 🔥. Spicy, rich, silky… it melts into the base like it’s found its forever home 🍕💪

At the fab Exeter Cathedral We have a lovely range of our cured & air dried Charcuterie in sliced packs, Devon Made

Beef Bresaola and Beef Cecina are luxuries born of patience, instinct, and truly beautiful meat. Ours begin with beef or buffalo raised on the soft, rain-kissed pastures of Devon and Cornwall, where the animals grow slowly, surely, and with that quiet dignity you can taste in every slice.

'Bresaola' air dries into something lean, satin-smooth, and almost jewel-like with influence from Italy, while it's Spanish style cousin 'Cecina' deepens into a darker, more brooding pleasure as smoked over Oak —intense, smoky, and irresistibly savoury. Both feel like secrets revealed slowly, one delicate slice at a time.

When we season them, we lean into flavours that feel almost narcotic in their comfort: dusky rosemary, glossy bay, and those piney, purple-black juniper berries that seem made for cured meat. Then comes the swell of citrus—orange zest, bright and fragrant—softened and made sultry with a generous splash of restaurant-grade red wine- Tempernillo in this case, the kind that pools in the glass like velvet. Finally, a crackle of black pepper for warmth. It all melds together into a cure that’s aromatic, elegant, and just a touch decadent

The result is meat that whispers of the West Country, but sings of European indulgence

Chorizo, its like that mate who always shows up to the party already sweating. Proper tasty, 😋 proper juicy, 🤤 a bit spicy 🥵 and a bit of a show-off 🕺.

Paprika waddles in like, “Alright kids, I’m here to make everything look well fit,” dusting its smoky glamour 🤟 everywhere like the drag queen of the spice rack and the red wine 🍷 , that’s the smooth operator lurking in the corner, swilling round given the party depth! 🥳

Put them together and BOOM 💥 — it’s like flavour Eurovision but Spain keeps on winning.

You chuck them in a pan and suddenly everything’s smokin’, sassy, and probably stainin’ your T-shirt. Lovely stuff!

Now — chillis🌶️
Chillis are the naughty sidekicks, like the little goblins of heat. You got yer:

🌶 Chipotle — the smooth, smoky one, like paprika’s sultry cousin who turns up on a motorbike 🏍️
🌶 Scotch Bonnet — warm and fruity, like the chilli equivalent of someone who says “m’lady” but smells incredible.
🌶 Carolina Reaper — turns everything into a dare. Proper Keith Lemon “Oooh ‘eck!”

And guess what?

Chorizo, paprika and red wine 🍷 take these chillis 🌶️, give ’em a cuddle, ♥️ a little boogie, and go:
“Come on, let’s make this stew taste like a Spanish 🇪🇸holiday where you definitely drank too much and fell asleep on a sun-lounger with San Miguel 🍺on your chest.”

Together, they create a pot of food so tasty 😋 you’ll want to stick your face in it and shout, "IT’S BANG TIDY!"
