Goodbye October 🍁

We maybe drawing close to the end of October but there’s still plenty more flowers to pick and dry, the dahlias and hydrangeas are still looking stunning 🌸

Here’s another dried wreath made up with this summers home grown flowers, herbs and foliage. I love the pink, burgundy green hues in this one which gives it a moody vintage feel. I have used a straw base for this one making it totally eco friendly🌿

Autumn feels are in the air which means it’s time to get creating again

It’s good to be back 🤗

My first post of 2024 💫
It wasn’t a great start to the new year for various reasons, one of them being due to the very wet start of January we suffered heavy water damage to the majority of our dried flower stock, a lot of which I had home grown and dried myself 😥

I ended up throwing a lot away including some our wreaths. My heart just wasn’t in it so I closed up the shop and decided to have a break.

With a new month of February things didn’t improve as I had hoped and I have been poorly for most of it but I’m on the mend now - phew!! The sunny spells this week have made my mood more buoyant and I have actually wanted to start new spring projects in the cabin.

As well as fresh and dried wreaths I have started to experiment more with faux flowers - here’s a little something for the Spring. I have keeps this one simple with eucalyptus, astrantia and lavender - what do you think? More elaborate designs are planned for Easter 🐣

So I’m pleased to announce that our Etsy store will reopen over the coming week, I have more dried flower supplies on the way and Mother’s Day is just around the corner so plenty to keep us busy and it’s growing season so lots to get ready for growing on my allotment and lots to look forward to

We also have an XX large fresh one available - this was from our stall at Christmas market, amazing quality just very big! Diameter is 70 cm / 28 inch would make a stunning display on large feature door or outside wall - a real bargain at £45!!

We also have a big bundle of nobilis pine branches, great for decorating around the home, stairways, porches etc. selling for either £15 for a large bundle (approx 30 branches) or £1 a branch
