He picked up a rainbow
And held it in his hands
A kaleidoscope of thoughts formed by books and films and bands
He came blazing like a comet through this library of mine
The monkies are still typing but they are running out of time
It turns out it’s not infinite but In poetry and prose he is tapping out a message,
What Everybody Knows
Unicorns can swim across
Wide oceans full of tears
A clown who knows he is a joke
Has faced up all his fears
He steps into the garden, Weirdstone clasped against his chest
The world has touched him deeply but it’s at his own behest
Here, among the apple trees, he can whistle his own tune
The Robin in the orchard sees the fullness of the moon.

Our trip to South Molton this morning included a visit to in the treasure trove beneath The Gilbert Gallery. ‘Neath’ displaying everything from textiles and ceramics to paintings and curios. A veritable box of delights!
