The Open Garden on Saturday was the busiest yet. Crowds arrived to search out bargains and amazing finds from books and home made bread to designer clothing, vintage items and antiques, relaxing with a bbq by enjoyed with a Pimms or teas and ice creams.

How much was raised? We are absolutely delighted to announce the incredible amount of over £25,000!!!

THANK YOU to everyone who came but our thanks must also be given to the remarkable team at with the Tisbury Fundraising Committee, they are so dedicated and utterly brilliant. It wouldn't happen without them.

Delighted to have a sneak preview of Saturday's wedding. A Bank Holiday weekend and the sun shone. A gloriously happy wedding ceremony by the Pavilion with marquee near the porch, a lovely combination in the garden.

It's just under two weeks until our Open Garden in aid of so make a diary note, we're looking forward to seeing everyone.
Gardens open at 11am until 4.30pm. Entry is £5 per adult and £2 per child but parking is free.

There are so many stalls with books, bric a brac, toys, teas, bbq, cakes and of course the famous vintage clothes stall.

Nothing can dampen the spirits on a wedding day and this recent ceremony was no different, captured by photographer Chris and Charlie made their vows in the Pavilion, the heart of the garden, surrounded by family and friends.

The bluest of skies, whitest of clouds, a perfect summer's day over the gardens. Borders are blooming, all the hard work really comes together at this time of year - it really is heavenly.

Next month the gardens play host to outdoor theatre with who bring A Midsummer Night's Dream. Swiftly followed by the ballet as we celebrate 15 years, it's going to be sensational.

The gardens will also be the backdrop to wedding celebrations so it's going to get very busy. We're enjoying the tranquility for now.

It's a busy summer in the gardens. The weekend before the ballet, 20th July, we will welcome to perform that most magical of plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Bring a chair, a rug, a picnic and settle in to watch the players set the scene. Outdoor theatre is great fun and our gardens are the perfect backdrop.

This year will mark 15 years of Ballet Under the Stars at Hatch. It's going to be a year of amazing and celebratory firsts including the announcement that The Balanchine Trust have granted permission for a performance of the sublime pas de deux from George Balanchine's Diamonds. It will be performed by Xander Parish who last danced at Hatch in 2022 and Kateryna Chebykina. Xander is Principal with the Norwegian National Ballet and Kateryna Principal with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne. They've performed this work together before, we can't wait to see them dance it at Hatch. It's such a huge privilege on every level.

Xander says: "Dancing Balanchine is one of the greatest pleasures a classical dancer can have- the shapes, patterns and musicality are so perfect that one truly can "see the music". Diamonds is a personal favourite of mine and is especially close to my heart as it was Balanchine's homage to St Petersburg and the Mariinsky Theatre where he trained before leaving Russia 100 years ago and where I had the privilege of learning Diamonds myself."
