Job Title: Temporary Chefs (Shared Accommodation Available)
Colchester, Essex
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking skilled and passionate Temporary Chefs to join our team for three separate assignment periods. As Temporary Chefs, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and high-quality meals in accordance with our menu and standards. Shared accommodation will be provided for the duration of each assignment.
**Assignment Periods:**
1. Monday, 14th August to Thursday, 17th August.
2. Monday, 21st August to Sunday, 27th August.
3. Monday, 28th August to Sunday, 3rd September.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook dishes in line with the provided menu and recipes.
- Ensure attractive presentation and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage food inventory and costs.
- Adapt to dietary requirements or guest preferences when necessary.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely meal delivery.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a chef with references.
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Food safety certification.
**Shared Accommodation:**
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of each assignment.
