⚡️Live Wyre Wrestling Power Surged into Cleveleys – A Night of Shocks, Showdowns, and Surprises!⚡️
Saturday, May 17th will go down in Live Wyre Wrestling history as the night the landscape changed forever. “Power Surge 25” lived up to its name, delivering jaw-dropping action, intense rivalries, and one of the most controversial nights the fans of Cleveleys have ever witnessed. Here's how it all went down:
🔥 Semi-Final 1 – Championship Series
• “Wildfire” Nate Reese def. Mark Billington
The night kicked off with a technical clinic as two of the best went toe-to-toe. Billington and Reese had the crowd on the edge of their seats—until chaos struck. A referee bump gave “Wildfire” the opening he needed, using the very Championship title as a weapon before sealing the win with a pinfall. The victory sends Nate Reese to the Championship Final under a cloud of controversy.
👑 A battle between two friends
• “The Prince of the Roses” Chris Keagan def. Astaroth
With their original opponents “The Bolton Club” suspended for past transgressions, Keagan and Astaroth took matters into their own hands—literally. Deciding that they wanted to test each other after years of shared training made for an even fight, but the only way they were separated was by Keagan with the count-out victory.
🚨 Debut Match
• “The Young Veteran” West Danger def. Martin Law
The debut of West Danger proved he’s not just hype. Despite the size mismatch, West used his striking ability and ring awareness to his advantage. A questionable pinfall (with Law’s foot seemingly on the ropes) led to a post-match meltdown from Martin Law, who viciously attacked both Danger and the referee. A dark new side of Law may have just been unleashed.
🍖 “Meat vs. Wheat” Showdown
• TITAN def. Holloway
Billed as “The Food Fight with Fists,” this match had the crowd buzzing. TITAN’s brute power clashed with Holloway’s plant-based pride and athleticism in an emotional back-and-forth contest. Holloway impressed by suplexing the massive TITAN, but it was TITAN who scored the win by pinfall. What followed shocked the entire Live Wyre Universe—fired wrestler Anthony Getski returned, attacking TITAN with a steel chair. Holloway revealed his true colours, turning on TITAN and aligning with Getski to form the new duo “Meat Free”. Luckily, TITAN’s tag partner ARCADIUS stormed in for the save, running the traitors out of the building—for now.
⚔️ Semi-Final 2 – Championship Series
• “Primetime” Jordan Kane def. “The War Beast” ARCADIUS
In a mentor vs. student clash, this Championship Semi-Final had the crowd split. ARCADIUS had the strength advantage, but Kane’s agility and strategy kept him in the game. Just as ARCADIUS took control, “Meat Free” struck again, distracting him long enough for Kane to score the roll-up win. Furious, ARCADIUS and TITAN chased the duo from the arena as Kane celebrated a fifth straight victory, remaining undefeated in Live Wyre Wrestling and punching his ticket to the Championship Final at the next show........
....UNTIL.....
"Wildfire" Nate Reese appeared, attacking "Primetime" and DEMANDING Live Wyre management give him the title match right now, after waiting his whole 20 year career for an opportunity like this! Dan - the Live Wyre boss appeared telling Nate that his time for talking was over and the Championship match wouldn't be happening as a business owner Live Wyre wanted to sell this headline match in the future. "Primetime" took the mic, saying that if he beats "Wildfire" right now he can shut him up for another 20 years - ring the bell.
Match 6
The Live Wyre Wrestling Championship Match
Wildfire Nate Reese def. "Primetime" Jordan Kane
The decision to hold the match right now proved costly. The much fresher Reese just had that little more left in him, "Primetime" had just been in a battle with "The War Beast", but showed real heart and determination but this immediate unplanned extra match was too much for him. "Wildfire" picked up the win by pinfall.
The FIRST EVER Live Wyre Wrestling Champion
"Wildfire" Nate Reese
