We apologise for the inconvenience, but the grounds of Drumlanrig (including Gardens, Adventure Playground and Larchwood Cabin) will be closed on the above dates.
We require to close for a small number of midweek dates to accommodate an exciting filming project. Importantly, these closures do not affect weekends and the majority of dates take place before the school holidays. We hope they cause as little disruption as possible to our visitors.
We are always honoured when Drumlanrig is chosen as a filming location. Its historic architecture, beautiful landscapes and unique character make it a special place to showcase on screen, helping to introduce new audiences to the Estate and the wider region.
While temporary closures are sometimes inconvenient, projects like these play an important role in supporting the future of the Estate. By welcoming opportunities like this, we help ensure that Drumlanrigโs heritage, landscapes and visitor experiences can continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
We particularly appreciate the understanding of our Pass Holders during these closures. As a small thank you for your continued support, we intend to host a series of extended summer evening openings, with perks exclusively for those with Annual Passes.
