✨ A little 2026 update ✨

What a season it’s been! 2026 has been a busy one in general, with a little sprinkling of beautiful weddings, plenty of amazing couples and so many special moments that I’ve been incredibly lucky to be part of, whilst also having a maternity leave 🤍

With just one more wedding left for the year, it’s nearly time for a little winter wind down 🥂✨

Over the coming months, I’ll be taking some time to slow things down and enjoy a little more maternity leave 🤍👶🏼 - but that doesn’t mean disappearing completely!

I’ll be using the quieter months to finally share some of the gorgeous weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with over the past few years. There are SO many beautiful moments that I’ve never had the chance to share, so expect plenty of wedding inspiration, behind-the-scenes snippets and some throwbacks to past celebrations ✨

I’ll also still be here chatting to new couples, answering enquiries and having those exciting conversations about upcoming weddings. So if you’re planning your big day, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! 💌

Well hello 👋🏼 It’s been a little while…

I’m back from holiday, the suitcase is (mostly!) unpacked, and I thought it was probably time for a little reintroduction.

If you’re new here - Hi, I’m Keri 👋🏼 I’m a Yorkshire based wedding planner, coordinator, celebrant and dog chaperone, helping couples create relaxed, personal and genuinely enjoyable wedding days since 2016.

I’m currently on maternity leave, so I’m taking things a little slower than usual and enjoying some very special time with my little ones 🤍

But I’m definitely not absent from the wedding world!

I’m still chatting to couples, meeting people for future weddings, replying to enquiries and planning ahead for what’s to come - just at a more relaxed pace for now.

It’s time for me to head off on my Summer Break! 🏝️☀️

It’s usually unheard of for me to take a break in the summer, right in the middle of wedding season, but I’ll be honest… this is the first week in the diary we’ve managed to all be free! 🙌🏼

With N growing up far too quickly, and the end of my MAT leave drawing closer and closer with R, it feels like the perfect time to step away, slow down and enjoy some proper quality family time. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒❤️

OOO: 30th August – 6th September🌴

I’ll try to make it a full digital detox too, because I think we all need a little time away from our screens these days!

So, if you email, DM or message me while I’m away, please be patient and don’t be surprised if I don’t get back to you until around 7th September.

For now, I’m switching off, soaking up the family time and making the most of these precious moments. We all deserve some time away! 🥰

Today, a friend asked me ‘have you got any advice that you usually give your couples before their wedding?’

Let’s be honest, I have LOADS! (I even wrote a book full of advice, Weddings On The Mind linked in bio! 😉) But the one piece of advice I always give to anyone getting and everyone married is;

Take time during the day for just you two!

Plan 5/10 minutes at intervals throughout the day to just take a step back and take in the day. It could be just after the ceremony, or whilst everyone is seating for the meal, or just before the party starts…It goes so quickly, you have to make sure you spend time with your new wife/husband and not be sucked into the comings and goings of the day!

No photographer, no videographer, no coordinator, no guests, no one trying to grab your attention…..just a moment for you two…….but if there’s a dog involved they are ALWAYS welcome 🤣

Oh July, you have been incredible! 🫶🏼

This month saw me branching out for the first time into the Peak District; and let’s be honest, it’s blummin beautiful!! ⛰️

Wedding photos like this…..YES PLEASE!

(It also meant two peaceful nights away from the kids 🤫😉)

C, J and myself have been planning and curating this day for so long, and I’m thrilled everything came together so well for them! Supplier choices were perfection - what a team! 👏

Can’t wait to share more from this wedding!

Anyone else getting married in the Peak District? As I certainly need to do another wedding here soon 😍

Oh and I do love it when couples find out about me themselves, but I love it even more when they come from industry recommendations 🤍

Today marks 6 years of Keri Louise Weddings! 🎉

Although I’ve been in the wedding industry much longer than that, what an incredible milestone it is to celebrate 6 years of running my own wedding business!

I’ve done it all – big weddings, small weddings, COVID weddings, charity events, planning, admin, training, outdoor weddings dodging the rain, indoor weddings, DIY weddings, marquee weddings.…..you name it, I’ve probably seen it! 🤍

Six years ago, this all started as a little project after I was made redundant. Fast forward to today, and I’ve worked at over 50 venues and locations (many several times!) across Yorkshire and the North East, helping bring so many couples’ wedding dreams to life – and I’m still counting!!

Whether I’m supporting with full planning or coordinating your day, leading your ceremony as your celebrant, or looking after your beloved pooch, that’s what I love about Keri Louise Weddings – no two days or weddings are ever the same.
