Having the people you love close by makes a wedding feel even more special.

On the night of your wedding, our Farmhouse and Laundry Cottage mean up to 11 of you can stay right here at Thirsk Lodge Barns, while 35 Kirkgate in the heart of Thirsk and nearby Woodhill Grange give friends and family the option to stay a bit longer.

And from January 2027, there’ll be another place to stay at Newsham, with the arrival of Gardener’s Cottage - a 2 bedroom retreat with secluded garden, hot-tub and sauna!

More room for your favourite people, more time together and no need for everyone to head too far after the celebrations.

There's more than one way to use the mezzanine at Thirsk Lodge Barns

For some couples, it's where their musician fills the barn with music as guests arrive. For others, it's the perfect position for a singer during the drinks reception or DJ overlooking the dance floor as the evening begins.

From heartfelt vows in the Main Barn to golden hour portraits across the estate, F & L's wedding was full of the moments that matter most.

There were happy tears, laughter echoing throughout, quiet moments together as the sun began to set, and a celebration shared with the people they love.
