So whilst most people were enjoying some time off work over the bank hoiliday weekend, we had 7 events in 4 days.

We were at weddings at...
Broxbourne Golf Complex, Herts,
Theydon Bois Golf Club, Essex,
Sheene Mill, Melbourn, Cambs,
The Barns At Lodge Farm, Epping, Essex,
Channels Estate, Chelmsford, Essex

As well as an anniversary party for a couple at their house in Broxbourne, Herts (whose wedding I DJ'd at 10 years ago)

And wrapping up a day of entertainment at The Millstream, Hertford, Herts as part of the unofficial Magical Musical Tour, where bands and DJs were at every pub in Hertford.

That is a lot of DJing, and a lot of setting up and breaking down of gear, not to mention all the advanced, intricate planning to make sure everyone got the 5* service they hoped for and expected.

As well as DJing, we provided discos, uplighting, photo and video booths, and LOVE letters.

Wowza! How about this for a review. Sometimes I get these and have to pinch myself it is about me! Undiluted gratitude. Thank you Sarah...

Tony was the DJ for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Theydon Bois Golf Club in July. From the moment we contacted Tony, he was helpful and quick to respond, providing detailed knowledge of the venue and making it very easy to get everything organised for smooth running of the day. He emailed us immediately when we had any questions and couldn't have been more helpful. Even when it took some time to decide on what package to go for (drapes etc.) Tony was incredibly patient and didn't rush us to make decisions. We were just gently reminded when things needed to be finalised.

On the day, everything ran to plan - Tony had everything set up and ready in good time for the guests' arrival. The music was brilliant (any requests were taken and played) and the wireless microphones for the speeches were excellent as everyone could hear the three speeches perfectly well. Tony added some fun moments to the introductions of the speeches with some suitable music for each person which everyone found amusing! All our guests commented on what a great time they had at the reception and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Thank you so much Tony for making the DJ/music/entertainment part so easy to deal with because there were many other aspects that needed our attention! We could just leave it to you to get on with providing great entertainment to everyone without worrying.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tony and his team. Thank you so much again for making it a day to remember!

Just completed the last of four events in two weeks at the character filled Marygreen Manor Hotel in Brentwood - three weddings and a 60th.

The staff are as charming as the venue, and it is always a pleasure to work there.

On Saturday we did our first event as the resident DJ & Disco Company at Delta Marriott Waltham Abbey, and what a way to start!

It was a fabulous night in celebration of Denise and Phil's joint 60ths and their 30 years of marriage. Congratulations to them.

We have many more events lined up at the hotel, including their "Joiner" Christmas parties (further details on their website). And we look forward to a long lasting and fruitful partnership, just as we already have with many other venues.

It was part of a very busy day for us with other celebrations in Theydon Bois, Buckhurst Hill, Hoddesdon and Dagenham.

It took just a couple of hours to turn an intimate 70th birthday celebration into a group singalong!

From start to finish, there were the various types of "lovely atmosphere" at 8 Rocks in Loughton.

For the third Saturday running we entertained at Theydon Bois Golf Club, and what a beautiful day it was celebrating Otis and Ash tie the knot.

We provided our All Day Compere & DJ Service, Ambience Uplighting and White LED Backdrop positioned behind the Carvery Station.

It was one of three weddings we DJ'd at that day, and we never forget what an honour it is to be involved with such special occasions.

Great to be back at Gaynes Park in Epping again yesterday.

Such a charming venue.

The staff are great too. I have to say that as yesterday my youngest Jayden was working as a waiter whilst I was DJing the wedding!

It beautifully rounded off another exceptionally busy weekend, where we also entertained at a Corporate 50th anniversary, a 90th, an 80th, a 50th, a 21st and an 18th!

Jon O'Loughlin and I were in the same form at The Broxbourne School from 1977 to 1984. Then we went our separate ways, and as was the case back then, unless you were the very best of mates, we lost contact.

Enter the era of social media, and Jon and I became FB friends, and all the way from Sydney, Australia, where he now lives, he saw my (ever so interesting) DJ posts!!!, and last year recommended me to the organisers of a summer ball that took place last night.

It was great to see him after 42 years and attempt to catch up amongst the mayhem! And what an epic night it was!

As were our three other events yesterday as we entertained in Essex, Herts, London and Buckinghamshire.

On a glorious day, Broxbourne Golf Complex looked fabulous and was bristling with great vibes and high energy for James and Ambers' wedding celebrations on Saturday.

Big congratulations to them, who have already said in their much appreciated 5* Google review...

An amazing DJ - we had a blast! Tony was fantastic from the very beginning. He was super accommodating and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He kept the vibes going and the atmosphere was brilliant for the whole duration. The set up was stunning - we went for the uplighting, LED dance floor and LOVE letters to bring the room together. An overall fantastic day and would recommend Tony 100%. Thank you again - until the next event!
