🔥Cooking today at The Willow Centre in 🔥 Cringleford if anyone fancies a proper dinner!

🍗 Smoky citrus hot-honey charbroil chicken
🍚 Coconut rice (fragrant, not sweet)
🥗 Herb salad – lettuce, spinach, parsley, mint
🥒 Charred courgettes & mushrooms
🫓 Warm yoghurt flatbread

Hello,

I’m Ben — a former special needs GCSE science teacher of 18 years who stepped away from the classroom after a family tragedy to build a food trailer from the ground up and follow my love of cooking.

Every Sunday at The Willow Centre I serve a different dish I’ve learnt from my travels. Cooked by me, from scratch from 1pm until 4–5pm (or until it’s all gone).

This week there will be proper Tarka Dhal with sides and naan. Don’t worry there will still be Roast! If you’re unsure about trying something new, you can always taste it for free. That’s exactly what happened last week when Zoe tried my Czech goulash. She came back two hours later saying, “I couldn’t stop thinking about it,” and bought Goulash for her and her husband which honestly made my heart glow.

If anyone didn’t get their roast today in Cringleford, there is still a chance! An impromptu service at the Golden dog in Shipdham! Roast is on!!!! Goulash and steak hoagies too!! or maybe just a bowl of garden Pea and Smoked ham hock soup with a big chunk of French stick with loads of butter on it. Come down, say hello! Loots is here too!

Steak hoagies come with fried mushrooms, fried onions and selection of sauces. There will also be the usual roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. As well as chicken you’ll be able to choose a Czech speciality I learnt to cook in Prague. It’s often referred to as segedínský guláš (pork sauerkraut goulash), with knedliky (Czech dumpling). See you tomorrow.
