There’s something truly magical about the first dahlias of the season 🌸✨

This weekend's wedding was a dream of soft pastel tones, delicate wildflower textures and romantic summer blooms. From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed by our beautiful floral pillar columns, perfectly paired with complementary meadow-inspired arrangements displayed in elegant melamine bowls.

Every detail was designed to feel natural, effortless and overflowing with colour, creating that enchanting "just gathered from the garden" feel that so many couples fall in love with. The first dahlias of the year took centre stage amongst a sea of seasonal blooms, adding the perfect touch of softness and charm to this beautiful celebration.

Watching all the individual elements come together to transform the venue is always one of my favourite parts of wedding floristry. It's such a privilege to play a small part in creating the backdrop to memories that will last a lifetime.

The van glow up is COMPLETE 😍💐

After so many weddings, funerals, early morning flower runs, late night set ups and miles on the road… The Garden Shed wheels finally got the makeover they deserved 🥹🌸

You definitely won’t miss me now 👀🚐

Ohhh I couldn't wait to show these off!

With fabric and florals being a theme focus, along with taking the ever popular sage green and pastel pink wedding colours - we decided to really turn it up a notch, and use pistachio greens and raspberry tones for that bold and brave splash of colour.

Some funerals stay with you forever… and this is one I truly wish I never had to create. 💔

Recently, I had the honour of creating funeral flowers for a friend of my daughter, a beautiful young boy, just 15 years old. A life taken far too soon, leaving behind heartbreak that words could never truly explain.

For this farewell, we created personal wording tributes, a traditional sheaf, and unique designs individually dedicated from his school, his friends, and his loving family — each piece made with so much care, emotion, and love. Every flower carried a memory, a message, and a reminder of just how deeply he was loved by so many people.

As a florist, I am often trusted to help families say goodbye, but sometimes certain tributes touch your heart in ways that are impossible to describe. This was one of those times.

Please, always be kind. Check in on your people. And never underestimate how much someone may be silently struggling behind a smile. 🌿
