Posting last weekends stunner alongside an apology to those of you waiting for your proposal documents… as I’m sure you all know, there are so many weddings finally happening, being booked and celebrations finally taking place, that demand for cakes is at an all time high!

Creating cakes that taste & look amazing is always top priority, this does however mean that admin sometimes is delayed, so please bear with us, we are working on proposals today so if you are waiting for yours it will be with you by eod… promise 💕

As for this one… tall two tier cakes are much more popular now, in a step away from the traditional 3 tier.

This elegant creation was double chocolate on the bottom & carrot cake on the top, all finished with buttercream, trimmed with gold & gold leaf and finished with stunning fresh florals from

Gem & Kieran choose the stunning as the venue for their gorgeous wedding and provided the catering, I can’t wait to see the official photographs!

Having been all consumed with weddings for the last few months, I’m really behind on posting recent celebration cakes & this one from a few months back was a cutie!

Shades of blue, stars, teddy bear, meringues, giant marshmallows & a touch of silver leaf to finish.

This week was back to buttercream… my favourite covering to work with; the semi-naked style suits this rustic/barn style wedding so well!

A&A had a stunning day for their wedding, one of the few sunny days we’ve had this year, the venue, Acorn Barn, looked amazing with flowers in bloom everywhere, the catering looked sumptuous by Lamb Catering & of course the flowers provided by The Daisy Chain florist just finished of the cake, beautiful!

We are finally coming back up for air after the busiest wedding season ever! And will be responding to messages & enquiries over the next few days.

We now only have a few dates left for summer 2022 weddings & already booking quickly for 2023 so please do ‘save the date’ for your wedding to avoid disappointment.

Thank you to all the amazing couples, venues & suppliers we have worked with, over what has been an exceptionally busy summer wedding season!

This classic, pretty, three tier was the perfect choice for a stunning summer wedding at the lovely for J&D.

The groom is a big fan of rich fruit cake so the top tier was fruit, more unusual these days, but lovely to bake, the smell filled the kitchen!

We are fully booked for weddings now until mid-September with limited availability for the rest of this year; summer 2022 is almost fully booked too so get in quick!

Absolutely loved creating this stunning wedding cake and dessert table for Hayley & Adam at Middle Temple in London; a modern ruffled bottom tier (with a nod to their little doggy), a sparkle tier with a pocket-watch, gold hand-painted monogram tier, then a top tier of hand-painted cascading gold leaves, all finished with hot pink sugar peonies & rose buds, with gorgeous foliage draped from the top from which really completed the enchanted look.

On the dessert table we had hot pink, raspberry macaroons finished with gold leaf, biscoff cupcakes, 3 flavours of mini-desserts & hand-painted ‘pocket-watch’ iced cookies.

Definitely my new favourite wedding dessert table!

Reminder: we are fully booked until the middle of September with very limited availability for the rest of 2021, and 2022 is getting booked up very quickly, this week alone we have had to turn away 2 lovely existing customers as we couldn’t squeeze them in (hate doing that!) so please book your wedding or celebration cakes as soon as possible!

• Weddings Are Back! •

From the first weekend in July, weddings were back for us & it’s been a manic season so far trying to squeeze in both last years couples, whose weddings had been rescheduled, along with this years couples.

This was our first of the season, on the first weekend of July, a couple of weeks before restrictions ended so it was a smaller affair that originally planned, but so pretty in a gorgeous venue with the most stunning flowers to work with!

Who doesn’t love the flavours of Cherry & Almond?

I made Sam & Sophie’s wedding cake about 2 years ago & at the time Sam requested a Cherry & Almond top tier as it was his favourite!

Fast forward 2 years (& a gorgeous baby girl) & Sophie requested a loaded Cherry Bakewell cake for his 30th birthday, along with an Afternoon Tea for 2 for a lockdown picnic.

This one was great fun to make, thanks Sophie for the first 3 images, you captured the cake far better than I did!

It was SO delicious 😄 Sam loved it! He said it was the best birthday cake he’s ever had 🥰

I love a modern, textured celebration cake & this one is a favourite 💕

My lovely customer ordered this one for her fiancé’s birthday, the brief was blues, golds, modern with texture & lots of chocolate in the middle!

The buttercream is textured before stencilling the geometric pattern on top to give a layered effect.

Loaded with gold features including hand-painted macaroons, chocolate balls, white chocolate curls & shards, then finished with a gold cake topper.

It’s so lovely to be asked to create baby shower & gender reveal cakes, we have had lots of orders for these recently.

This was a recent one, simple but pretty, with a coloured sponge so the gender was revealed once the happy ‘parents to be’ cut the cake!

They also ordered ‘gender reveal cupcakes’ also with coloured sponge inside, that they delivered to friends & family who couldn’t be there in person (due to shielding) so they could virtually share their happy news 🥰

The bright colours of this one were awesome!

With rainbow coloured buttercream swirls, it looked so fun & pretty especially when topped with a bespoke Unicorn cake topper with the birthday girls name.

Absolutely adored this one... my customer wanted something simple, classic but stylish with a touch of gold & fresh flowers including red roses for his lucky wife’s birthday!

I used a mix of fresh florals (touched with gold leaf), along with gold hand-painted macaroons, meringues & chocolate shards to create the look, then finished with a gold ‘happy birthday’ cake topper.
