David Connell is bringing his 1953 Alvis TA21dhc along tomorrow - what a stunning example of 50’s design and British engineering! We’re all set here at HQ, we hope you’re ready for tomorrow?!

Jo Goodey and her ladies - The Bicester Motion Saxologists - will be opening the show for us at 11am on Sunday with their first performance of the day, the second coming at 12:15. Come and see them in the band tent next to the ring in the middle of the field!

Winnie is as disappointed as we are but just to confirm that we’ve cancelled the dog show due to the high temperatures - us humans can nip to the bar for another drink but our 4 legged furry friends have all got their coats on still - even in this weather! Sorry folks!

We’re only a couple of days away now! The weather looks fantastic and everything is ready to go for Sunday. Gates open at 11am and you’ll be met by the musical talents of the Bicester Morion Sax Quartet who will then hand on the baton to the Watlington Concert Band at 11:30. Richard will start his first commentary of some of the highlights of the show at 12 o’clock with our Scorpion tank firing demonstration.

Our beautiful Jordan Formula One car will be on display on Sunday, the 3 litre V10 (proper sounding F1 cars) was built by Honda with over 800 horsepower! The Gary Anderson designed chassis took drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato to several top 10 finishes with a season best 5th in 3 races.

We’re very excited to see it on the lawn on Sunday morning! Make sure you get yourself tickets before you get there so that you can breeze into site…
