A massive cake week last week, alongside a heatwave too!
One 20-inch leviathan for the u3a Cam, Dursley & District to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Lemon drizzle, fruit cake, low-gluten sponge and rich chocolate cake. It was so big, it took two people to carry it. Then a bus for Joe's 50th, carrot and choc cake, a replica of his prized vintage vehicle. Finally, for my husband's own 50th birthday, something knocked up in secret and delivered to the church where he had been playing, in time for coffee.
