Something a little different is popping up around Telford. 🍕

Ballissimo is a small local food pop-up bringing together Neapolitan-inspired pizza, Indian-influenced flavours and freshly made pakora.

After a positive first summer, we’re now looking to work with a small number of venues and community spaces across Telford and the wider area for autumn and winter pop-ups.

If you run a venue, community space or event and think Ballissimo could be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.

Pakora has its roots across the Indian subcontinent, with countless variations depending on region, family and the ingredients to hand. At its simplest, vegetables are coated in a seasoned gram flour batter and are fried until crisp. Uncomplicated food, but absolutely packed with flavour.

That simplicity is one of the reasons we love it. Much like pizza, it's food designed to be shared and eaten informally.

For Ballissimo, it felt like a natural way of allowing the Indian side of what we do to stand proudly alongside pizza

A little evolution at Ballissimo… 🍕🌿

From the beginning, Ballissimo has been about bringing together artisan pizza with the flavours and influences we love from Indian food.

Over the summer that idea has continued to develop, and it felt only right to give the Indian side of Ballissimo a little more room of its own.

So, alongside our pizzas, we’re introducing our own handmade pakoreh, lightly spiced and and very much our own take on something we’ve loved for a long time.

It’s also why you may have noticed a small change to the Ballissimo name and logo. Pizza is still very much at the heart of what we do, this just feels like the next natural step in the Ballissimo story. 🌿🍕

Summer Fest 2026 🍕

A brilliant day for a brilliant cause.

Ballissimo Pizza had the pleasure of being part of Summer Fest in Lawley, Telford, on Saturday 4th July. Our first larger event, and what a day it was.

It was fantastic to see such a successful local event, with so many people coming together in support of Severn Hospice.

We’re really grateful to have been part of it, and to everyone who came over for pizza, had a chat, gave us feedback, or supported us on the day.

Fresh stone baked pizza, Indian inspired flavours, hot ovens, busy queues and a fantastic local crowd. A proper milestone day for Ballissimo.

For event catering, private bookings and community events, Ballissimo Pizza is now taking enquiries for future dates.
