THE HISTORY OF HADLEY PARK HOUSE

Some places are beautiful, while others have stories to tell… and Hadley Park House has more than two centuries of history woven into its walls.

Dating back to the Georgian era, our historic house has witnessed remarkable chapters in Shropshire’s past.

A glimpse into our history:

🌿 Circa 1773 – The sale of Hadley Park Farm was advertised in The Shrewsbury Chronicle, possibly paving the way for the house to be built.

🏡 1903–1941 – The Mulliner family called Hadley Park House and its estate home for nearly 40 years.

⚙️ 1941 – The estate was sold to Joseph Sankey & Son Ltd, later becoming part of the GKN Group. Company directors stayed at the house, just a short distance from their offices.

🌏 A global connection – The house later captured the heart of a Japanese businessman, who purchased it as a welcoming retreat for Japanese visitors.

❤️ Today – Hadley Park House continues its story, welcoming wedding couples, hotel guests and visitors who become part of its history.

From generations past to the celebrations we host today, our beautiful Georgian house remains a special place where memories are made and stories continue.

Hadley Park House Hotel – where history meets happily ever after. 💍

Yesterday’s blessing was full of beautiful details, with rich emerald green draping and gorgeous sunflowers, bringing a burst of golden colour to the ceremony. 💚🌻🌻🌻

From the sunflower-adorned chairs to the stunning floral arch, every detail came together beautifully to create a lovely setting for the happy couple’s special day.

Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness.

Thank you for choosing Hadley Park House to be part of your forever memories. 🥂✨
