Yesterday we catered for the wedding of Lauren and Nic, a completely wonderful day full of colour, love and so much food. With all day sunshine added in to make it 10/10. With great thanks to Bromwich Park Events for making us so welcome. ❤️

Earlier this week I was invited to be part of a collaborative project with other independent wedding suppliers at a new stunning venue - which will be open in 2027 for wedding bookings! I’m nowhere near as talented as all the others when it comes to putting posts and reels together (I’m much better in the kitchen!) but here is my collection of shots for the day. We are completely over the moon… 🥹💛

We’ve just found out that Rodriguez Events has been nominated for the 2027 in the catering category!

What makes this even more special is that we were nominated by one of our wonderful recent brides. Frankie, if you are reading this, thank you from the absolute bottom of our hearts. Knowing that the food and service Emma, Heber, and the team provided on your big day meant enough to spark a nomination truly means the world to our small family business.

Every single wedding we cater is entirely bespoke, designed around the couple’s story, their favourite flavours, and their budget. We pour so much love and hard work into making sure every plate is perfect, so to receive recognition like this is just incredible.

Whether you’ve been on this journey with us from the start, or you’re a future couple currently planning your dream menu with us, thank you for letting us do what we love every single day.

We’ll keep you all updated on the next stages, but for now, we’re celebrating! 🍾🥂

LAUNCHING!!!! www.rodriguez-events.com Our completely updated and renewed website - with great thanks to our son Heber Martin who has taken a huge amount of time to work on this for us. We are so delighted with the results. A website that incorporates all of our upcoming events, our trusted suppliers, so many photos of our work, reviews and a clear explanation of our services. Cakes - Rodriguez style! We love making our cakes, brownies and cupcakes every day at - whilst we have been there we have often been asked for whole cakes or for take away cakes. So we thought we’d make a lovely smart menu, buy some pretty cake boxes and make it official! All of our cakes are made freshly on site and we can cover many dietary requirements as well as many different flavours. If you are looking for wedding cakes or fondant iced cakes or very large and elaborate cakes we still recommend you visit either in Newport or .littlethings19 in Madeley - they are both incredible bakers and have huge talent for creating personalised patisserie. For our cakes delivery is available - just speak to us to discuss your needs. Many thanks - and - “eat cake”!!! 🎂❤️
