Tavistock Town Council is seeking a motivated and customer focused Duty Officer to join our team.

This is a rewarding and varied role supporting a wide range of community events and market activities, primarily within the Town Hall complex.

✅ Salary: £25,583 – £26,403 (pay award pending)

Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June - Butchers Hall Makers Market (Friday 9am to 4pm, Saturdya 9am to 4.30pm)

Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June - The Artisan Crafters Summer Craft Fair 10am to 4pm

Butchers' Hall will be open on the 16th & 17th of May for a fantastic Art & Craft Fair, running alongside the popular EAT Festival. Come along and browse a great mix of handmade crafts, artwork, gifts, and local makers while enjoying the buzz of the festival weekend.

We’ve still got a few trader spaces available, so if you’re an artist, crafter, or small business and would like to be part of the event, get in touch and join us for a busy weekend of visitors, food, and shopping.
